Dream Sports acquires Pune-based Rolocule Games

Rolocule Games, a Pune-based mobile game company, was acquired by Dream Sports. Top-tier investors such as Blume Ventures, Mumbai Angels, and CIIE backed Rolocule (IIM Ahmedabad). Rolocule will be rebranded as Dream Game Studios after the acquisition, with creator Rohit Gupta continuing to head the company. Dream Game Studios will focus on premium interactive gaming experiences for mobile devices. Dream 11, FanCode, DreamSetGo, DreamPay, and Dream Capital are all owned by Dream Sports, a renowned sports technology business.

Rolocule Games, founded in 2010 by Rohit Gupta, specializes in mid-core games in India, with titles such as Flick Tennis, Dead Among Us, Dance Party, and Bowling Central racking up millions of downloads worldwide. Dream Sports has announced the creation of a USD250 million fund for Dream Capital, its corporate venture capital and acquisitions arm, to invest in sports, gaming, and fitness-tech firms. Dream Capital has already begun to put its money to work, investing in eight startups like SoStronk and Elevar.
