In addition to opening in malls, high streets, and neighbourhood areas, Apple stores will also be smaller than Apple Premium Reseller stores. Premium Reseller shops typically cover 1,000 square feet. Watches, iPads, and iPhones will be available at the smaller shops.

A retail consultant who is aware of the idea informed ET that Tata has already begun talks with upscale malls and high streets for space. Mumbai is set to host the opening of Apple's first company-owned flagship shop in India during the third quarter of March. The experts in the field also stated that Apple has informed its regional franchise partners that its corporate stores boost sales for both partners and merchants. Apple is concentrating on increasing sales in India and intends to increase its capacity for production. To do that, the Cupertino-based computer behemoth is expanding its assembly lines and workforce. According to a business expert, "They're aiming to scale up the volumes that they make from India...it potentially climb by more than three times what they want to make this year. "The nation might even be able to export iPhones built in India thanks to this.
