One of Microsoft Teams Calling with Optus' primary features is the voice calling service that allows for subscription billing between the Teams and the traditional publicly switched telephone network.

It is a cloud operated service that removes businesses' need to run large enterprise voice hardware stacks for voice services. Microsoft's direct routing technology and its Azure cloud platform underpin the service.

Teams Calling with Optus offers Australian businesses the experience of collaborating with the Teams, backed by the Evolve Voice capability of enterprise-grade Optus, the telco announced.
