Infosys and IBM are working together to help the company drive digital transformation with IBM Public Cloud

On March 2, 2020, Infosys, a global leader in the next generation of digital services and consulting, and IBM have announced a global agreement to help businesses accelerate their digital transformation journey through the IBM cloud.

Collaboration can help businesses, including those in highly regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, and healthcare, to transition, automation, and transformation of their business workloads and applications by tapping into the stability, enterprise capabilities, and open innovation of the IBM public cloud. As part of the alliance, Infosys will also provide its clients with access to Red Hat's open-source product portfolio on the IBM public cloud. This will provide companies with a higher level of scale, services, and skills to accelerate the effect of their cloud-driven digital revolution.

Infosys is the first multinational System Integrator to link the new IBM Public Cloud Ecosystem to help in carrying IBM public cloud services to clients through service suppliers. As part of the platform, Infosys will be able to deploy IBM's technical expertise to assist clients in transitioning to the IBM Public Cloud. IBM will partner with Infosys and its clients to speed up activities such as proof of concept, operating cloud pilots, customer innovation centers, and other processes designed to deliver value rapidly and securely.

Through this partnership, Infosys Cloud Practice employees can engage in training and become IBM public cloud certified. They will be able to implement IBM's ready-to-use public cloud solutions to help the clients in the financial services industry to tackle their regulatory compliance, protection, and resilience needs.

In addition, Infosys will offer its clients cloud-based and open technology tools, such as AI, blockchain, analytics, and more. By tapping into these services, businesses will be able to transition, modernize, and automate their enterprise workloads and applications, helping to drive their digital transformation to the public cloud.
